Thank you so much for the clear instructions! I was able to install HACS without any issues. The only difference is that after installation, it didn't ask me to enter my previously created GitHub token. Instead, it provided an authorization key that I had to enter into GitHub. Not sure why the difference, but I'm happy to have it installed. Thanks again!

Similar to DLTHOMPSON06, it presented me with a key that I entered INTO github.com.. I installed this on a Synology NAS in a Docker iteration of Home Assistant Core.
