The SONOFF 4CH of the Chinese manufacturer Itead is a case that allows to control up to 4 relays in WiFi. The module can be installed in a control cabinet using a DIN rail fixing system. The Sonoff 4CH is built around an Espressif ESP8285 WiFi module, well known in the field of DIY home automation.
It is possible to replace the original firmware with an alternative Open Source firmware such as ESP Easy. You will be able to control your devices from a DIY home server (Domoticz, Home Assistant …) using HTTP requests or MQTT messages. You can use the scenario system of your home automation server to drive up to 4 electrical appliances.
Each relay can power a device in 220V / 10A (max. 2200W). Be careful not to exceed 16A on the total of 4 relays, which is more than enough for most home automation applications.
A 4CH Pro version also exists. It also allows WiFi to control the devices using a 433MHz radio remote control.
Several operating modes are available, which can be selected with the help of a DIP switch S6 (Work mode switch). To access the various selectors, the housing must be opened.
