The SCT-013-005 is an economical sensor that can measure AC power (230V) for Arduino, ESP8266 or Raspberry Pi power consumption monitoring projects. It is capable of measuring alternating current in the range 0 to 5A. The measurement is non-invasive. Simply open the sensor and surround the power cable of the device to be monitored. You can then retrieve the analog signal on an Arduino, ESP8266 or a Raspberry Pi for your power consumption tracking projects. Ideal to monitor the consumption of your electrical appliances: radiator, electric heating, towel dryer, washing machine, iron, fridge, freezer …
Other models:
Self-powered alternating current sensor. If your installation is three-phase, only one of the two phases must pass through the central hole, otherwise the return sensor has a zero value.
